Draw Draw Draw

Again iv'e visited my drawing unit via Photoshop and tried out dome new drawings taken from some really beautiful research I have found. 

This cut out research is really beautiful and delicate.

Fallen in Love...

Over the past few weeks and months i have gone Pintrest mad and have started to follow some amazing new blogs!!!

New Drawings...

I have been kind of neglecting my work over the start of this Easter break so I have decided to get back into doing some work with some large drawings that I can put into my drawing portfolio...

Statistics on the brain...

My next set of designs to sit in my collection came from a long time of looking at travel and tourist statistics and thinking about how I could translate them in to nice designs, these are my attempts maybe getting better in descending order...

These first attempts were accused of being too graphic and simple and so looking to close to graphs and statistics, I do however like the fact that they are simple! so next i attempted some more decorative ideas.

I see squares...

Iv'e recently had to have a big edit of my designs for this final unit of work, after all this is suppose to be my best work for the degree show. These are some more designs that i'm thinking will make the final cut...

These are intended for curtains or blinds with the square co-ordinates for cushions or throws.

Slightly late mothers day...

I should have really been doing work.... but instead this afternoon I have made my mum a slightly late mothers day present, my mum reads everyday but iv'e never seen her once use a book mark, its always a scrap of paper or something she's found and so I decided to make her one out of my own printed fabric from a  previous project. It is slightly late but I wont be seeing her in person till friday so its fine.

Lets just hope she likes it now....
